You can manually request we process your mail for you however you like. By manually requesting your mail be scanned or forwarded, it gives you the most control over your account - as you can nominate only some mail to be processed. Very useful if there's a lot of mail you want to be processed differently.

When you log into your account, you'll see your Inbox. The Inbox displays all the mail we currently hold for you here in our offices.
In order to request your mail be scanned, all you need to do is to select the mail you'd like us to scan for you by ticking the appropriate boxes to the left of your mail.
1. These are the boxes you can tick if you only wish to have some of your mail scanned.
2. Simply click this box at the top if you would like to quickly select all of the mail in your inbox at once. This saves you having to click every single letter individually.
Once you have selected the pieces of mail you would like to have scanned, there are a two options for scanning to choose from.
1. The eyeball icon will allow you to just request your mail be scanned. Once the scanning is complete, you'll see the word 'scanned' next to your mail in your inbox.
2. The eyeball next to a trash can icon will allow you to request your mail be scanned, and then the physical mail will be immediately destroyed once the scan is complete. The scan will still be visible in your account. IMPORTANT NOTE: Private Box has measures in place to protect mail that may contain items like cheques or new bank cards. If you have requested an item to be scanned and immediately destroyed and our staff find it contains something we feel may be important, we will override the destruction request and send you a message to let you know why. If you do still want the item destroyed, then you can absolutely send us a message with written confirmation that it's ok to go ahead and destroy that item.
Once you have made your selections, you'll see a confirmation window that will remind you of the price of scanning, and what will happen with your mail once complete. Simply check the information is correct, then click the 'confirm' button on this window. Once confirmed, the request will be sent to our mail processing team, and your mail will be processed for scanning.
